I had some remaining chain from the last design I posted. I was about to start something entirely new but kept on thinking “why not using it for another design?” I knew if I put it away it could easily stay unused for months… Finally I decided to make bracelets with this leftover. What a great feeling to make the most out of our material, three pieces out of a meter of chain. And I still have 12 links left, maybe I’ll come up with something. But in the meantime, if you’re interested, here’s the fast and easy process for these cool accesories.
Me sobró cadena del último diseño que publiqué en el post anterior. Estaba a punto de empezar algo totalmente nuevo pero pensaba “¿porqué no usar ese sobrante para otro diseño?” Sabía que si la guardaba fácilmente podrían pasar meses sin que la volviera a usar… Finalmente decidí hacer unas pulseras. Qué gran satisfacción aprovechar el material al máximo, 3 piezas de un metro de cadena. Y todavía me quedan 12 eslabones así que talvez se me ocurra algo más. Mientras tanto aquí muestro el fácil y rápido proceso para estos brazaletes.
In this case I worked in the round crocheting on both sides of the chain. You’ll need a 3mm crochet hook and some 100% cotton yarn. To start, just make a closed strap with an even number of links in which your hand can go through.
En este caso, trabajé en redondo tejiendo en ambos lados de la cadena. Necesitarás un gancho de 3mm y algo de hilaza 100% algodón. Para empezar, sólo haz una pulsera cerrada con un número par de eslabones. Revisa que tu mano pueda atravesar.
Tie the yarn to any link.
Ata el hilo a uno de los eslabones.
R1: (sc 1, ch 3, skip one link) repeat until completing the row.
Vta. 1: ( 1 mp, 3 cad, saltar un eslabón) repite hasta completar la vta.
R2: Sc all around making 3 sc in the ch 3 space and 1 sc over the sc of last R. Ss 1 in the first st of this row. Fasten off.
Vta. 2: Teje mp. toda la vta, haciendo 3 mp. en el arco de 3 cad. y 1 mp. sobre los mp. de la vta. anterior. Haz 1 pd en el 1er p. de esta vta. Remata.
Do the same two rows on the other side of the chain holding the same links. The bracelet is ready.
Teje las mismas dos vta. del otro lado de la cadena tomando los mismos eslabones. La pulsera está lista.
