It has been a while since I wrote my last post. My crochet daily work was delayed due to personal activities I just couldn’t put off. Sure this happens to everyone so I just tried to relax and go on with it, I knew at some time I would be able to return and so here I am! And with a new crochet pattern. This time, inspired by the sunny weather that is little by little making its way through some clouds and a bit of rain. I love looking for different materials to combine with crochet work. I had already used the 8 mm cotton cord in my drawstring bag design and I’m using it again for this striped beach tote. And I saw a thicker twisted cotton cord I couldn’t resist to try for the handles. I love the summer look of it and the sturdiness both cords give to the design.
Ha pasado un tiempo desde que hice mi última publicación. Mi trabajo diario relacionado al ganchillo se vió retrasado por cuestiones personales que no pude posponer. Seguramente esto nos ha pasado a todos así que sólo traté de relajarme y seguir, sabía que en algún punto podría volver y así que ¡ya estoy de vuelta! Y con un nuevo patrón. Esta vez inspirado en el clima soleado que poco a poco se va haciendo camino entre algunas nubes y un poco de lluvia. Me encanta buscar diferentes materiales para combinar con el trabajo a gancho. Ya había usado el cordón de algodón de 8 mm en mi diseño para el bolso de jareta y lo estoy usando nuevamente para este bolso de playa a rayas. Y vi un cordón de algodón torcido, más grueso, que no pude resistir probar para las asas. Me encanta el toque veraniego que tiene y la robustez que ambos cordones le dan al diseño.
