Tapestry crochet basket/ Canasta en tapestry crochet

The more I got into crocheting, the more I discovered possibilities for its application, and I still do… Garments from head to toes for all ages, accesories, dolls, and home decoration, among many others. And crocheting for home is so interesting and useful, one can imagine infinite pieces for the kitchen, living and dining room, bathroom, bedroom, etc.
Mientras más me adentraba en el mundo del tejido descubría mayores posibilidades para su aplicación y lo sigo haciendo… Porque se pueden hacer prendas para vestir desde los pies hasta la cabeza en todas las edades, accesorios, muñecos y tejido para el hogar entre muchas otras cosas. Y es en esta última área donde podemos crear un sinfín de piezas para cada cuarto que compone una casa: cocina, comedor, sala, recámaras, baños, etc.

In this particular case I had the need for organizing my wardrobe, to give it a bigger capacity, structure, but above all a better look. I thought of making a kind of box or basket with tapestry crochet technique, this would give enough support and flexibility for the available space and contents. I’m so happy with the result, and once I have all my crocheted baskets my shelves will look great. En mi caso surgió la necesidad de organizar más las repisas de mi closet para darles mayor capacidad, orden y lo más importante mejor vista. Pensé en tejer unas cajas tipo canasta con la técnica de tapestry crochet, esto les daría la suficiente rigidez para sostenerse pero también la flexibilidad para adaptarse al espacio y a su contenido. Quedé feliz con el resultado y cuando tenga todas mis cajas tejidas mi closet lucirá estupendo.
