CROCHET BEADED BRACELET

FREE PATTERN WITH VIDEO TUTORIAL

Fashion accessories such as bracelets may be small, but they can really complete our looks, especially if we can customize them with specific colors and pieces.

The Crochet Beaded Bracelet allows you to mix basic yarn craft skills with jewelry making. So easy and fast that you will want to make many of them for you, all family members and friends.

With only a few materials like leftover thread weight yarn and some beads. And only including chains, which are the most basic of all crochet stitches.

A suitable project for beginners, if you have little experience with the crochet hook. But in case you have never worked with crochet before and need a little practice, I suggest you watch my video Crochet from scratch first, where I show you the basics.

And you can also check some of my other easy patterns for jewelry, like the Catena Crochet Necklace/Bracelet if you are into fast and pretty projects. Make sure to read the full blog post and video tutorial for complete instructions.

All essential steps are covered in the Crochet Beaded Bracelet. Video is in Spanish, but you have the option to see the Closed Caption in the language of your choice, by selecting the settings icon on the video then, select Closed Caption, Automatic Translation and select your language. And you also have the written directions (below this same post), to follow every detail step by step.

I used cotton thread weight yarn for the bracelet, because it will easily go through the beads so, just make sure that the little pieces that you will be using and your yarn are a good match.

STITCH GUIDE

  • R: row
  • Ch: chain
  • St: stitch
  • Rep: repeat

CROCHET BEADED BRACELET
Before starting your crochet work, place all pieces over your fabric, this will prevent little pieces from sliding or falling. Place them in order, according to the sequence of color you wish your final bracelet to have. Then, insert the yarn through all pieces, by trying to leave some additional beads by the end, they can easily be removed before closing the bracelet. Crocheted in one row only. Make a slip ring.
Row 1:
Slide first piece (this should be be the jump ring or lobster clasp) close to the slip ring and ch 1 by pulling the yarn over right after that first piece. Then, slide the next bead close to the last st made and complete 1 ch right after the bead. Rep until 0.4″ / 1 cm before the full length of the bracelet. You can also measure around the wrist to make sure you have almost reached the full circumference. Complete an additional sequence of beads if needed or cut the yarn by leaving 4″ / 10 cm. Remove beads that will not be used and slide the closing jump ring or lobster clasp, to complete the final chain right after.
Fasten off and weave in all ends.

FINISHING
Use some glue for the yarn ends, in case you want to make the bracelet super secure and long lasting.

And your Crochet Beaded Bracelet has been completed, so easily that you will want to try in different color combinations, by playing with yarn shades. Or even add many more beads to make a super cool long necklace.
