Most crochet softies are made from basic shapes. Just a few changes with construction and amount of rows and you can create diverse figures. Once you learn how to make one you are practically able to make any other. This fish is quite simple and the best of all, you only have to make one little seam. Materials are stuffing, a 3.5 mm crochet hook and 100% cotton yarn (I used Sinfonía by Omega, less than 50 gr. for each).
Casi todos los muñecos hechos a ganchillo se hacen a base de formas básicas. Sólo algunos cambios en la construcción y cantidad de vueltas y podemos crear figuras distintas. Una vez que aprendes a hacer uno, puedes hacer prácticamente cualquiera. Este pez es bastante sencillo y lo mejor de todo, lleva sólo una pequeña costura. Necesitas un poco de relleno, un gancho de 3.5 mm e hilaza 100% algodón (usé Sinfonía de Omega, menos de 50 gr. para cada uno).
The entire work is crocheted in the round, in a spiral way.
It’s started from the tail, which is made of two parts.
PART 1: Ch 2.
R1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook= 6 sts (I suggest placing a marker in the first st of every row to count sts and rows easier)
R2: 2 sc in each sc around= 12 sts
R3-6: Sc 12.
R7: Sc 12. Ss in the first sc of this row. Fasten off and weave in all ends.
Toda la labor se teje en redondo, en forma de espiral.
Se empieza desde la cola que está compuesta por dos partes.
PARTE 1: Hacer 2 cad.
Vta. 1: 6 mp. en la 2ª cad. desde el gancho= 6 p. (sugiero colocar un marcador en el primer p. de cada vta. para poder contar los p. y vtas. con facilidad)
Vta. 2: 2 mp. en cada p. en redondo= 12 p.
Vta. 3-6: 12 mp.
Vta. 7: 12 mp. Hacer 1 pd. en el primer p. de esta vta. Rematar y esconder las hebras.
PART 2 of the tail is practically made the same way, just stop before making ss in R7.
Take PART 1 and place it before PART 2, take your hook and go through one st in PART 1 and one st in PART 2 and sc 1. Rep twice more to join both parts of the tail. Then continue crocheting in the round.
R8: Sc 18 (place the marker in the first st of this row, as you took 3 sc for the seam, there will be 9 sts in each part of the tail)
La PARTE 2 de la cola se hace prácticamente igual, sólo detente antes de hacer 1 pd en la vta. 7.
Toma la PARTE 1 y colócala delante de la PARTE 2, toma el gancho y atraviesa un p. de la PARTE 1 y un p. de la PARTE 2, haz 1 mp. Repite esto dos veces más para unir ambas partes de la cola. Después continúa tejiendo en redondo.
Vta. 8: 18 mp (coloca el marcador en el primer p. de esta vta, como tomaste 3 p. para la costura, habrán 9 p. en cada parte de la cola)

R10: (Sc 1, 2 sc in next st) rep ( ) 9 times= 27 sts
R11: Sc 27
R12: (Sc 2, 2 sc in next st) rep ( ) 9 times= 36 sts. Stuff the tail.
R13-25: Sc 36
R26: (Sc 2, dec 1) rep ( ) 9 times= 27 sts
R27: Sc 27
R28: (Sc 1, dec 1) rep ( ) 9 times= 18 sts
R29: Sc 18. Stuff the fish.
R30: (Sc 1, sk 1) rep ( ) 9 times= 9 sts
R31: (Sc 1, dec 1) rep ( ) 3 times= 3 sts. Ss in the first sc of this row.
Fasten off and weave in all ends. The fish is ready.
