Another way to make crochet flowers, and maybe the most common one, is to work in the round combining basic sts and chains to shape the petals. Two or three rows are enough to create beautiful layers and a pretty final design.

Sew two small flowers to the base just over the angles. Sew three layers together to form the main flower and sew it to the base. Sew the clasps to its base. Finally, join each end of the chain pieces to shape the necklace. Your work is ready to wear.
