Crochet in a chain

You need 51 cm/ 20.1″ (55 links) of chain, some sport weight cotton yarn, a 3.25 mm crochet hook, and a set of clasps.

Follow the chart and the photo tutorial below to make the necklace.

To begin, make a knot in the 13th link and start with R1.
Go through the links to make sc. Skip one link between each sc.
Depending on the chain you find you may have to change the number of crocheted chains between each sc. The goal is to keep the links from squeezing, the natural form of the chain must remain.

When finishing R2 you can wrap the beginning strand in between the stitches.

CROCHETED CIRCLES (MAKE 2)
Ch 4.
Rnd 1: Dc 11 in the first ch made= 12 sts. Sl st in the 3rd beginning ch to close the round.
Fasten off and weave in all ends.
Sew the clasps to the circles.
Open the link at each end of the chain and fit into the circle’s edge. Take care not to twist the chain.
The necklace is ready.
