One of the first blogs that approached me when I started my own, was Cut Out + Keep. I was just beginning to share some free patterns and I found this other creative platform to upload ideas and tutorials to share with a wider audience. Now, some years later, they have asked me to collaborate again, for their Technique Tuesdays, and I was so happy to participate! It’s all about showing detailed steps with images and instructions, to complete a stitch pattern. This time, front post double crochet, which is very much used for volume/texture crochet. And then, if you get the hang of the technique, you can start an exciting project that includes it.
So, go ahead and try something new, practice the stitch first and you will feel a lot more confident to make the Cabled Cape which also has a video tutorial. And take a look at Cut Out + Keep’s full site, with diverse DIY projects, not only for crochet or knitting, but also cooking, decoration, fashion design, embroidery and many other amazing arts and crafts. They are always featuring designers from all around and beautiful ideas. You can also check my previous Technique Tuesday participation, for Tapestry Crochet technique, with a detailed photo tutorial and a cool project you can get your hands on right after.
