Had the idea a few days ago without knowing what the outcome would look like. I actually like it a lot! With very few material and basic knowledge in crocheting there are many pieces of jewelry that can be created. And by adding some jewelry accesories the design lights up even more! I’m planning to use this for the holidays, hope you like it too. Materials are: 2 mt. of 3 mm macrame cord, one skein of nylon metallic thread Omega No. 3, one skein of crochet metallic thread by Omega Medium gold 7, #2 (US) steel crochet hook, two 6.3”/ 16 cm pieces of chain, four .2”/ 5mm rings and one toggle clasp.
Tuve la idea hace pocos días sin saber sómo se vería el resultado final. ¡Y me gustó mucho! Voy descubriendo que con muy poco material y conocimiento básico en ganchillo hay bastantes piezas de joyería que se pueden crear. Y al añadir algunos accesorios de joyería el diseño se ilumina aún más. Estoy planeando en usar esta pieza para las fiestas, espero les guste también. Los materiales son: 2 m. de cordón de macramé de 3 mm, 1 madeja de hilo nylon metálico Omega No. 3, 1 mad. de hilo crochet metálico Omega, gancho de acero no. 2, 2 tramos de 16 cm. de cadena, 4 argollas de 5mm. de diámetro y un broche de T.

With both metallic and nylon thread together ch 2.
R1: 6 sc in second ch from hook.
R2: From this row on you will carry the macrame cord along. 2 sc in each sc around= 12 sts.
Se teje todo en redondo.
Con el hilo metálico y el nylon juntos hacer 2 cad.
Vta. 1: En la 2ª cad. desde el gancho hacer 6 mp.
Vta. 2: A partir de esta vta. empezar a cargar el cordón de macramé. Hacer 2 mp. en cada p. en redondo= 12 p.
R3: Sc 12. When making round rows with the same number of sts your work starts to entwine. It’s better if you turn your work inside out, it will be easier to continue crocheting. If it’s difficult for you to make this move holding the hook take it out and hold the loop with a stitch marker and then turn the piece inside out. One it’s turned take the stitch marker out and place the hook again.
R4-33: Sc 12. Try putting your index finger in while crocheting, this will help keeping an even width. It also makes crocheting easier. In this case I chose not to use a stitch marker for beginning of rows as they are quite short, just count approximately 32 rows made with macrame cord.
Cut the macrame cord leaving a 2″/ 5 cm. strand which will be hidden inside the tube.
R34: Without carrying the macrame cord (Sc 1, skip 1 st) repeat ( ) 6 times= 6 sts. Ss in the first st of this row.
Fasten off and hide the ends inside the tube.
Place a ring on each side of the chain pieces. Attach one side of the toggle clasp to one end and the crocheted tube to the other.
Repeat the same for the other chain. The necklace is ready.
Vta. 3: 12 mp. Cuando se trabajan vtas. en redondo con el mismo número de p. la labor empieza a enroscarse. Resulta más cómodo voltear la labor para poder seguir tejiendo con facilidad. Si se dificulta hacer este movimiento sosteniendo el gancho entonces sacarlo y detener los hilos con un marcador de p. y voltear. Una vez volteado sacar el marcador y colocar nuevamente el gancho para tejer.
Vta. 4-33: 12 mp. Se puede colocar el dedo índice dentro del tubo que se va formando. Esto ayuda a mantener un diámetro constante y a tejer sin dificultad. En este caso no se usó una marca para indicar el inicio de vtas. ya que son muy cortas, simplemente contar que haya 32 vtas. envolviendo el cordón de macramé.
Cortar el cordón de macramé dejando una hebra de 5 cm. que se esconderá dentro del tubo tejido.
Vta. 34: Ya sin cargar el cordón de macramé hacer (1 mp, saltar 1 p.) repetir ( ) 6 veces= 6 p. Cerrar con pd. en el 1er p. de esta vta.
Rematar y esconder los hilos por dentro del tubo.
Insertar una argolla en cada extremo de los tramos de cadena. En una argolla introducir uno de los lados del broche de T y en la otra el tubo tejido.
Repetir lo mismo para el otro tramo de cadena. El collar está listo.
