FREE PATTERN WITH VIDEO TUTORIAL
T-shirt/ribbon/up cycled yarns seemed like a trend when they started to fill yarn stores, but I think they are here to stay. They are really ideal for many home and fashion accessories. They come in a wide range of textures, colors, prints and weights and they bring this modern taste to crochet.
This medium size bag, has no seams at all (for those who’d rather avoid that finishing step), and even the handles and eyelet are made as you go along. Only add one of those XL buttons to finish it and make it pop!
Ice Yarns was so kind to provide the yarn for this tutorial, a beautiful up cycled super yarn which makes chunky, great looking stitches. So, you’re not only trying a different yarn, but you’re also contributing to our planet’s health.
And yarn is so good looking by itself that you only need simple stitches, such as single crochet, slip stitch and easy increases and decreases. All crocheted in the round, constructed from bottom to top.
Watch the video tutorial I made, to show steps for this quick bag, for you or a loving friend. And find written, round by round directions below as well.
A one skein project, to use that thick crochet hook and go super fast!
