I’ve been seeing so much about a greener and healthier way of living in recent years, and I don’t think it is just because it may be fashionable or trendy, but because it’s something we should all be doing now or in the very near future. One approach to that philosophy, is to use what we have. And though it might seem as a super simple and very straight forward thing to do, it’s not uncommon that we just go and get something new without taking a look at the things we can already take advantage of within our reach, and that are in good shape.
That was the case of this bag fastening (together with the ones I used for the Unicorn Coin Purse), which had been sitting in my craft supplies’ stash for a couple of years. While I was reorganizing my crochet studio, I stumbled upon them and decided it was finally time to use them. Sometimes it’s hard to find new ideas for patterns, but this made it easier and didn’t have to get new material at all. So, I came up with the Classic Frame Purse design, which is easy to practice tapestry crochet technique back and forth, and also great to use yarn from leftovers (something that we all crocheters have a great deal of as well).
What do you do to have a greener lifestyle? Are you also constantly thinking of new ways in which you can contribute for this purpose? Hope you enjoy this free pattern (which includes a video tutorial too) and that you can also try and make the most of your valuable belongings, because you might get lovely ideas!
