Besides being able to create a complete necklace we can also crochet an applique that works as one. This takes even less time and material and if you choose it can be removable. In this case I made a crochet applique with fringes that becomes attached to a t-shirt with two sets of tiny clasps. Materials for this are a 3 mm crochet hook, 100% cotton yarn in 4 different shades and two sets of clasps.
Además de poder crear un collar completo e crochet, también podemos hacer aplicaciones tejidas que lo parezcan. Esto requiere aún menos tiempo y material y si lo queremos puede ser removible. En este caso hice una aplicación con flecos que se adhiere a una playera con dos pequeños broches de presión. Los materiales necesarios son un gancho de 3mm, hilaza de algodón en 4 colores distintos y dos broches de presión.

When finished, cut 3.9″/ 10 cm strands of yarn for the fringes, 5 sets of 5 strings of each color, so there will be 15 sets in total.
Al terminar cortar tramos de 10 cm para los flecos, 5 juegos de 5 pedazos en cada color, así habrán 15 flecos en total.
Make a fringe every 3 double crochets. Take the hook and go through the stitch, then pull the 5 strands through, enough to form a ring in which all strings will go through to make the fringe. Tighten the strands.
Hacer un fleco cada 3 macizos. Atravesar el punto con el gancho y pasar los 5 hilos a través, jalar lo necesario para formar un arillo por donde pasarán todos los hilos. Ajustar.
Sew one side of the clasps to the applique’s edges and the other to the t-shirt.
Coser un lado de los broches a los extremos de la aplicación y el otro a la playera.

The t-shirt can be used with or without the applique, the clasps are so small they don’t look bad and you could even find transparent ones in some stores. I’m already thinking of a new applique to have different choices to wear.
La playera podrá ser usada con o sin la aplicación, los broches son tan pequeños que no se ven mal e incluso puedes encontrarlos transparentes en algunas tiendas. Ya estoy pensando en una nueva aplicación para poder tener distintas opciones para vestir.
