FREE PATTERN WITH VIDEO TUTORIAL
Charms and little crochet details are the perfect solution to give your accessories an extra special touch. And they can also be made quicker than other projects because of the fewer steps involved.

The Crochet Angel Charm is one of those patterns that intends to be simple and cute. And it also works perfectly for Christmas season, as a symbol of peace and good wishes.
With the perfect small size to be given as a beautiful and practical present. Including basic stitches and construction, looking to facilitate the making in case you want to make more than one (which I am pretty sure you will do).
A suitable project for beginners, if you have little experience with the crochet hook. But in case you have never worked with crochet before and need a little practice, I suggest you watch my video Crochet from scratch first, where I show you the basics.
Another option that adds up to your Christmas crochet plans, like the Abundance Lamb Keychain, that is also perfect for the new year to come, to give to family and friends as well. Make sure to check the full blog post and video tutorial for complete instructions.
SPECIAL STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES
Treble crochet
Double crochet, with an extra yarn over at the beginning, to create a taller stitch. Yarn over twice, insert hook in indicated st, yarn over and draw through the st, (yarn over and draw through two loops on the hook) twice, yarn over and draw through last two loops on the hook.
Invisible join
It is used to get a cleaner end of round. Finish last st of the Rnd, cut the yarn leaving a 4”/10 cm tail and pull the yarn through the final loop. Thread tapestry needle and insert in the first st of the rnd. Then, insert the needle on top of the last st of the rnd, by going through the center and pulling through the WS. Pull to close and fasten off.
All essential steps are covered in the Crochet Angel Charm Video Tutorial. Video is in Spanish, but you have the option to see the Closed Caption in the language of your choice, by selecting the settings icon on the video then, select Closed Caption, Automatic Translation and select your language. And you also have the written directions (below this same post), to follow every detail step by step.

Pin one end of the key chain to one st of Rnd 1 of the head. Use pliers to open and close the ring if necessary.
