CROCHET HANDLES

FREE PATTERN WITH VIDEO TUTORIAL

We always need practical add-ons and accessories to complete our crochet makes. And in the case of bags, a good pair of handles are one of the basics for finishing and making the finished result look amazing.

The Crochet handles are simple and easy to make, to just sew to your completed medium to large bags. A nice and fast pattern to practice in the round making and easy finishing details.

Only single crochets and two rounds, with easy seaming by the end, to join to the bag and giving it that final cute look.

PLEASE NOTE that the Banana Tote instructions are separate from the handles’ tutorial so, if you also want to make the bag, refer to the Banana Tote post or video, to find the specific steps to complete them.

Easy skill level because you do not need to spend a lot of time making these handles. A few minutes to make two of them and then easily joining to any design to finish that beautiful make.

As always, I suggest watching one of my videos, in case you need to practice first. If you have never crocheted before, you may want to check my beginners’ course, to practice single crochet back and forth. After that you can move forward to working in the round and you will be completing with the basic notions.

Steps to make the handles and then sewing to the bag, are included in the Crochet Handles’ Tutorial, with English/Spanish instructions. And you will also see step by step instructions below this same post, to check the exact number of stitches on writing.

I choose cotton yarn for these as well, because of the fiber resistance, but this project could also be adapted to many other qualities and weights. A super practical easy project that will be useful for many future designs.
