FRESCO MINI BAG

FREE PATTERN WITH VIDEO TUTORIAL

Summer is all about outdoor plans and that is the reason why we need to walk around comfortably so, dressing up with lighter garments and accessories becomes a must.

The Fresco Mini Bag may appear to have an intricate stitch pattern but it is really quite easy to achieve, besides having a round seamless construction. And it is also a cross body bag which makes it even more practical.

This free pattern includes single crochets mainly, which are part of crochet essentials, perfect for beginners. But in case you have no experience in crochet at all, you can watch my Crocheting from Scratch video first, if you feel you need to practice a little before diving into a more specific design.

And if you are looking for other mini bag options for that coming trip you can also watch the Cotone Mini Bag tutorial, with basic stitches and few finishing steps too, to be completed in little time.

Or how about another similar project that includes tapestry crochet and a cute coin purse, like the Giorno Mini Bag and Coin Purse.

The project is one piece only, all worked in the round, and only basic sewing to attach a set of clasps for better finishing. An easy and fun crochet experience.

STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES
Back loop slip stitch:
Slip stitch, made in back loop of stitches from last row/round. Insert the hook in bl of next st, yarn over, pull through the st and pull through the loop on the hook.

This video tutorial for the Fresco Mini Bag covers all steps of the making. Video is in Spanish, but you have the option to see the Closed Caption in the language of your choice, by selecting the settings icon on the video then, select Closed Caption, Automatic Translation and select your language. And you also have all written directions and images (below this same post), to follow every detail step by step.
