This week there is a new free pattern with video tutorial included, the hemp basket. Two weeks ago I posted a bag made from two skeins of the same material. This time, two other skeins were perfect to finish a square basket. That’s why I love crochet, we can adapt it to our needs in a very specific way and make two different designs with the same amount of yarn. For this pattern I used two strands to get bigger stitches, a stronger piece and work faster too. The basket is made quite fast and the work is made in one seamless piece with little finishing. And we get to practice how to make a square base with a sequence of stitches that is easy to follow.
Esta semana hay un nuevo patrón gratuito con tutorial en video, la canasta de hemp. Hace dos semanas publiqué un bolso hecho de dos madejas del mismo material. Esta vez otras dos madejas fueron perfectas para terminar una canasta cuadrada. Por eso me encanta el crochet, podemos adaptarlo a nuestras necesidades de una manera muy específica y hacer dos piezas muy distintas con la misma cantidad de estambre. En esta ocasión el estambre se usa doble para obtener puntos más gruesos, una pieza más fuerte y claro, avanzar más rápido también. El resultado se obtiene en poco tiempo, la labor se hace en una sola pieza con un terminado sencillo. Practicamos la manera de hacer una base cuadrada con una secuencia de puntos que es fácil de seguir.
