Collar necklace

You need a 3 or 3.5 mm crochet hook and sport weight cotton yarn. There is also a video tutorial available for this free pattern.

It’s crocheted in the round, in closed rounds from Rnd 1-3, then 2 one way rows to finish. It’s started from the inside out.
Ch 120, make a sl st in the first ch to close in the round.
Rnd 1: Ch 3, dc 119= 120 sts. Beginning 3 ch replace the first dc. To close the round sl st in the 3rd beginning ch.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc 8, 2 dc in next st, (dc 9, 2 dc in next st) rep ( ) 11 times = 132 sts. Sl st in 3rd beginning ch.
Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc 9, 2 dc in next st, (dc 10, 2 dc in next st) rep ( ) 11 times = 144 sts. Sl st in 3rd beginning ch.
Fasten off. Rejoin yarn to dc #49.
