FREE PATTERN WITH VIDEO TUTORIAL
It feels a little nostalgic saying goodbye to this second amigurumi free CAL. Wuf-Wuf Barry is all set and ready to go and have amazing adventures with lots of kids out there, as PART 4 is released today. Just a very few steps to end this fun design, after completing previous PART 1, PART 2 and PART 3, that took most of the work for the past weeks.
Now, we’ll only focus on sewing the dog parts and outfit, also adding a nose if you didn’t use a security one. Pretty similar to Hop-Hop Charlie’s PART 4 so, that video tutorial will work as a guide for Barry.
If you want the formatted and more portable 11 page PDF document (with photo tutorials), this is available in my pattern stores (Ravelry, Etsy, Craftsy, Lovecrochet) for USD $2.50. Just note that all instructions (with videos) have also been released in this free CAL.
TECHNIQUES
For this part of Wuf-Wuf Barry CAL, we’ll be using simple finishing techniques. I suggest watching video tutorial for PART 4 of Hop-Hop Charlie Free CAL for reference, both for sewing parts together and for embroidering the nose. You will also find a photo tutorial on how to embroider the nose below, if you want a faster visual reference.

PART 4. Finishing.
To embroider the nose, pull out BLACK through the middle stitch, 5 rounds below the eyes.
Draw diagonals on each side, 1 round below the eyes, 2 sts from each eye.
Fill in the space in between with satin stitches, fanning out from the center stitch.
Sew the arms to the body, from round 51 of body down, to each side. Join the legs to the body, from rounds 3 to 12 of body, to each side. Sew the ears from rounds 5 to 7 of head, to each side. Sew the head to the body.
For vest, join front shoulders with back shoulders, on the RS. Sew the vest side seams.
